After joining Cap Gemini and Coca Cola, Mr. Sakata joined Revamp Corporation where he managed projects on global expansion and turnaround in various sectors including F&B, healthcare, retail, IT, etc. After joining IGPI, Mr. Sakata has managed projects mainly on global expansion and cross border M&A in various sectors such as logistics, IT, telecom, retail, etc. In addition to his broad experience in implementing solutions that has been developed in Western countries, he has developed multiple methods to turnaround Asian companies with focus on setting clear vision and employee empowerment. He has proven the practicality of these methods by turning around Asian companies not only as an advisor but also as senior management. He graduated from Waseda University Department of Political Science and Economics and IE Business School
Before joining IGPI, Kazu worked in the legal team for both Softbank’s parent holding company and its subsidiaries such as Softbank Mobile. At Softbank, he dealt with M&A / business partnership, building strategy scenarios, responding to litigation, developing new businesses, reviewing regulatory framework, reviewing of contracts etc. He has written many books and articles relating to telecommunication law and anti-competition law. Kazu is a lawyer and graduated from Keio University, Department of Policy Management.
Mr. Matsuura has experience in strategy consulting and finance. He worked in BCG Tokyo office and advised clients in a wide range of industries including pharmaceutical, telecommunication, finance with projects including new business development, SFE, and scenario planning. Prior to BCG, he was in Asset Management division in Nomura as portfolio manager as well as product manager of investment trusts. Mr. Matsuura holds a MBA degree from IESE Business School, Spain and an undergraduate degree in Commerce from Waseda University, Japan. He is a native Japanese speaker and speaks English fluently. He is embarking on a journey to learn Mandarin. He likes to read books and play tennis in his free time.
Rachit Khosla has rich experience of leading and executing market entry and growth strategy engagements for Fortune 500 businesses and large MNCs across Asia. He has advised clients in a diverse range of industries including automotive, fintech, industrial, med-tech & healthcare, construction materials, IT & telecom to name a few. Rachit was the former country manager for Solidiance Asia Pacific and has also previously headed an online B2B marketplace startup focused on Emerging Markets. Rachit holds a Master’s degree with Merit in Global Business Analysis from Manchester Business School, UK and an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from India. Rachit also holds numerous certifications from prestigious institutions including INSEAD and Wharton. He speaks fluent English and Hindi. Rachit has lived in 3 countries and has set foot on ~40 countries. He is always busy planning his next trip for work or leisure.
Lei Ling Lim has vast experience in financial due diligence, process improvement and audit assurance. She started her career in Assurance Services with KPMG as well as PricewaterhouseCoopers where she was exposed to a large scope of financial advisory services within the Asia Pacific region covering multiple industries. Thereafter, she led the internal audit team in a Singapore Listed company. Lei Ling Lim graduated from University of Manchester within the Accounting and Finance faculty. She is a qualified Chartered Accountant with the Institute of Chartered Accountant of England and Wales (“ICAEW”). Lei Ling Lim is fluent in English, Mandarin, and Bahasa. Lei Ling Lim enjoys travelling, outdoor activities and also reading.
Chong Han’s career started in 2008 in the M&A advisory arm of a global professional services firm, with a focus on valuation advisory relating to mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, financial reporting and litigation support. Thereafter, he joined a SGX-listed regional real estate player, investing in lands for development and properties for redevelopment or holding. His experiences and skills span across a wide spectrum of investment activities such as market analysis, due diligence, valuation, financial modelling and transaction execution. Chong Han graduated from Nanyang Technological University with a Bachelor of Business degree (First Class Honors), majoring in Banking & Finance and second majoring in Accountancy. He is a CFA® charterholder. He is proficient in English and Mandarin. He is currently learning Japanese and Spanish as part of his continuous learning and love for travelling and culture. Chong Han enjoys travelling, scuba diving and he practices ashtanga yoga.
Lishan graduated from National University of Singapore with a degree in Business Administration. Upon completion of JLPT 2, she joined Onward Kashiyama Singapore and later KPMG Singapore. Her work at KPMG’s deal advisory team provided her with extensive experience in over 30 commercial due diligence and market entry engagements across industries such as Education, Healthcare and Fintech, with exposure to the rest of the deal cycle including PMI. At IGPI Singapore, she now focuses on strategic planning across a wide range of industries including technology and logistics. Her experience spans across the region – Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore and Philippines. Lishan is fluent in English and Mandarin. She is also conversational in Japanese. Lishan enjoys travelling and good food.
Larphatsanun is a business professional with experience and achievements in strategy development and project implementation. She led a team to gather and analyze data by a variety of research and analytical methods such as questionnaire survey and statistical analysis to identify critical issues. She also designed feasible actions/business processes to implement within constraints such as budget, time and human resource. Larphatsanun holds a MBA degree with merit from Alliance Manchester Business School, United Kingdom. Her Bachelor Degree was in Political Science, majoring in policy planning from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Larphatsanun speaks English and Thai. Japanese is another language she plans to learn. In her free time, she loves travelling, shopping and watching movies. She is also interested in canoeing and social charity event.
Daniel Putra’s experience came from working for a logging industry in Kalimantan, Indonesia. His areas of expertise are operations and business development, where he assured quality performance of the operations during the project period, as well as liaising and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. During his MBA stint where he was a Risk Management intern, he reviewed Enterprise Risk Management framework as well as drafted the firm’s Business Continuity Plan. Daniel graduated from University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor’s in Economics with a focus in labour Economics, before completing his MBA in Singapore Management University with a focus in Strategy and Finance. He speaks fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia, and is conversational in Mandarin. His interests include sports, travelling and trying exotic foods.
Aino started her career in the finance industry as an operations analyst, where she gained extensive knowledge in financial products. She analyzed and implemented methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness of daily BAU tasks. Later, she joined a Japanese Bank as an Investor Relations Specialist, where she planned and executed deal and non-deal roadshows for Japanese corporate’s and institutional investors. She also worked closely with the sales team in cultivating potential clients in Malaysia and maintaining existing relationships with clients in South East Asia. Aino holds a Bachelor degree from University of British Columbia in Finance and International Business. Aino speaks fluent English and Japanese, and in her free time she enjoys travelling and dancing.
