At the Forefront of Japan–Singapore DeepTech Innovation 
― Designing Pathways for Co-Creation ―

As part of the Japan-Singapore Co-Creation Platform (JSCCP), which was launched in 2024, a seminar titled “At the Forefront of Japan–Singapore DeepTech Innovation ― Designing Pathways for Co-Creation ― ” will be held on Thursday, 11 December 2025, at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore.

JSCCP is a framework that connects government, industry, and academia in both Japan and Singapore to foster the development of a joint innovation ecosystem and promote concrete opportunities for co-creation. In 2025, with support from IGPI Singapore, JSCCP spotlights DeepTech as its core theme and is rolling out a three-part seminar series.

The first seminar, held in October, identified and shared key challenges in advancing Japan–Singapore innovation through discussions among business leaders and experts from both countries.
Building on those insights, the second seminar will focus on exploring practical approaches and potential solutions to address these challenges, incorporating outcomes from the 2nd JSCCP experts’ workshop held in November. New participants are also welcome, as the program will include a brief recap of the first seminar to provide context for the ongoing dialogue.

Following the sessions, a networking lunch will offer participants the opportunity to exchange ideas and explore potential collaboration with speakers and peers.

2024年に始動した日本・シンガポール共創プラットフォーム（JSCCP: Japan-Singapore Co-Creation Platform）の取り組みの一環として、12月11日（木）にセミナー『DeepTechに挑む日星イノベーション最前線 ― 共創に向けた道筋を描く ―』が開催されます。

JSCCPは、日星両国の産官学を結びつけ、イノベーション・エコシステムの構築と具体的な共創機会の創出を推進する枠組みです。2025年は IGPIシンガポールが運営をサポートし、DeepTechをを重点テーマに掲げ、全3回のセミナーシリーズを展開しています。

10月に開催した第1回セミナーでは、両国企業・有識者による議論を通じて、イノベーション推進における主要課題を整理・共有しました。
続く本セミナーでは、その課題に対する具体的な解決の方向性やアプローチを探ることを目的に、第2回有識者会議での知見も交えながら議論を深めます。初めてご参加いただく方にも、シリーズ全体の流れを理解しながらご参加いただける内容となっております。

また、セッション終了後にはネットワーキングセッションを設け、登壇者や参加者同士が直接交流し、意見交換いただける場をご用意しています。

As part of the Japan-Singapore Co-Creation Platform (JSCCP), which was launched in 2024, a seminar titled “At the Forefront of Japan–Singapore DeepTech Innovation ― Framing the Key Issues for Co-Creation ― ” will be held on Thursday, 30 October 2025, at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.

JSCCP is a framework that connects government, industry, and academia in both Japan and Singapore to foster the development of a joint innovation ecosystem and promote concrete opportunities for co-creation. In 2025, with support from IGPI Singapore, JSCCP will spotlight DeepTech as its core theme and roll out a three-part seminar series.

The first seminar will focus on highlighting and framing the key challenges in Japan–Singapore business collaboration, drawing on perspectives from both sides. Building on this foundation, the second and third seminars will explore potential solutions and deepen discussions toward forming concrete co-creation projects.

This seminar will be held as an official Partner Event of SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology), the country’s largest annual innovation event. Bringing together Singapore government representatives, leading corporations, startups, and thought leaders, it will provide an exceptional opportunity to explore new avenues of collaboration. Following the sessions, a dedicated networking segment will enable direct exchange among speakers and participants.

The 21st Renewable Energy Asia Conference 2025 (REA 2025) will be held on July 2, 2025, at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok, as part of Asia Sustainable Energy Week (ASEW) from July 2 to 4, endorsed by Thailand’s Ministry of Energy.
