After joining Cap Gemini and Coca Cola, Mr. Sakata joined Revamp Corporation where he managed projects on global expansion and turnaround in various sectors including F&B, healthcare, retail, IT, etc. After joining IGPI, Mr. Sakata has managed projects mainly on global expansion and cross border M&A in various sectors such as logistics, IT, telecom, retail, etc. In addition to his broad experience in implementing solutions that has been developed in Western countries, he has developed multiple methods to turnaround Asian companies with focus on setting clear vision and employee empowerment. He has proven the practicality of these methods by turning around Asian companies not only as an advisor but also as senior management. Before joining IGPI, Ryota worked in Deloitte Consulting in Singapore, where he was a leader in the areas of Consumer Business and Supply Chain & Logistics in Southeast Asia. His areas of expertise are Strategy & Operations such as market entry, Route-to-Market (RTM) strategy, business due diligence, and PMI. He started his career with A.P. Moller-Maersk Group as a management trainee and also worked for Kurt Salmon, where he had vast project experiences especially in Supply Chain & Logistics for the retail and consumer goods clients. Ryota graduated from the Faculty of Economics at Keio University.
Rachit Khosla has rich experience of leading and executing market entry and growth strategy engagements for Fortune 500 businesses and large MNCs across Asia. He has advised clients in a diverse range of industries including automotive, fintech, industrial, med-tech & healthcare, construction materials, IT & telecom to name a few. Rachit was the former country manager for Solidiance Asia Pacific and has also previously headed an online B2B marketplace startup focused on Emerging Markets. Rachit holds a Master’s degree with Merit in Global Business Analysis from Manchester Business School, UK and an undergraduate degree in computer engineering from India. Rachit also holds numerous certifications from prestigious institutions including INSEAD and Wharton. He speaks fluent English and Hindi. Rachit has lived in 3 countries and has set foot on ~40 countries. He is always busy planning his next trip for work or leisure.
Kim-Lân has vast experience in advising blue-chip private equity funds, entrepreneurs, and corporates on divestments and capital raises. Before joining IGPI, he worked at BDA Partners and TC Capital in Singapore, where he executed transactions across Southeast Asia including consumer/retail, telecommunications, financial services, and financial technologies. He started his career in 2008 with PricewaterhouseCoopers Luxembourg and Ernst & Young Singapore in the Corporate Finance Advisory Services team across a wide spectrum of investment activities such as market analysis, financial and commercial due diligence, valuation and financial modelling. Kim-Lân graduated from Ecole Superieure de Commerce Tours-Poitiers (ESCEM) Business School in France with a Master in Management. He speaks French, Vietnamese, and English.
Chieko has profound experience in startup ecosystem, industry university collaboration and energy policy. Chieko started her career as a government official in Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, JAPAN. Chieko established four venture capital firms under top universities in Japan and injected more than a half billion dollars in the academic society. She also organized a high-level roundtable between industry and university in science and technology area. She contributed to the energy policy reform after Fukushima nuclear power plant accident.
Chieko holds an MBA from National University of Singapore, PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Tokyo and Master of Design Methods from Illinois Institute of Technology. She enjoys following recent updates in science and technology in her free time.
Before joining IGPI, Tatsushi has worked in Mizuho Bank and Deloitte Tohmatsu Financial Advisory(DTFA) in Japan. At DTFA, he belonged to the Corporate Strategy team, specializing in business strategy planning, M&A advisory, and business due-diligence. He was also engaged in crisis management, supporting clients to tackle emergencies. He has profound experience in the energy, consumer, and financial industries. He covered a wide range of clients including Private Equity Funds and large-sized companies. Tatsushi graduated from Waseda University with a B.A. in International Political Science and Economy. He enjoys traveling and watching baseball in his free time.
Daniel Putra’s experience came from working for a logging industry in Kalimantan, Indonesia. His areas of expertise are operations and business development, where he assured quality performance of the operations during the project period, as well as liaising and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients. During his MBA stint where he was a Risk Management intern, he reviewed Enterprise Risk Management framework as well as drafted the firm’s Business Continuity Plan. Daniel graduated from University of California, San Diego with a Bachelor’s in Economics with a focus in labour Economics, before completing his MBA in Singapore Management University with a focus in Strategy and Finance. He speaks fluent English and Bahasa Indonesia, and is conversational in Mandarin. His interests include sports, travelling and trying exotic foods.
Having worked for Sumitomo Corporation for 12 and a half years, one of the major general trading firms in Japan, Miyoshi Nishimura has rich experience in risk management and industry & strategic research areas. She engaged in multiple M&A deals including on-site D.D. aboard, valuation, negotiations and collaboration with internal/external counterparties. As leading Strategic Research Team at Sumitomo Corporation Global Research, Miyoshi researched and analyzed new business areas and reported to the managements. She graduated from Law faculty of Chuo University. She enjoys walking and running in the park with her daughter on weekend.
Marcus has started his career with IGPI. He graduated from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Finance. During his time in university, he has gained overseas internship experiences in the chartering and offshore industry. Marcus is proficient in English and Mandarin. His interests include travelling, golfing and cooking.
Hui Fu has started his career with IGPI. He graduated from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Business Management, majoring in Operations Management. During his time in university, he had multiple internships in the Hospitality, Venture Capitalist and Tech-startups industries. His roles often revolved around Business Development and Operations Strategy where he planned and executed the launch of new facilities/properties both locally and within South-East Asia. Hui Fu is proficient in English and Mandarin. His interest includes playing Softball, taking long walks and playing escape games.
